ECOS Eye Hospital Organizes Eye Testing Camp in Collaboration with GOAL IDTRS

The camp saw enthusiastic participation, with more than 175 drivers benefiting from eye care services and health education. Senior staff members from both DTI and ECOS Eye Hospital were present to support the initiative, emphasizing the importance of vision in ensuring safe driving practices.

With 34 years of dedicated service, ECOS Eye Hospital continues to provide comprehensive and inclusive eye care to communities across Ganjam and nearby districts of Odisha. This camp reflects ECOS’s ongoing mission to make eye care accessible to all, while also contributing to the safety and well-being of drivers, who are the backbone of the transportation industry.

On January 11, 2025, ECOS Eye Hospital, in partnership with GOAL IDTRS Berhampur (DTI), successfully conducted a mobile van camp for free eye testing of drivers. This collaborative effort aimed to enhance road safety by ensuring that drivers possess optimal vision.

GOAL IDTRS Berhampur, a leading driver training institute, provides free driving training to thousands of Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) drivers in collaboration with the Government of Odisha and Ashok Leyland. Recognizing the critical role of vision in safe driving, GOAL IDTRS partnered with ECOS Eye Hospital to offer this valuable service to their trainees.
