Chilika Vision Centre, Khordha

The inaugural vision centre was established on September 4, 2016, within the premises of Gurudwara Singh Sabha, located in front of INS Navy Chilika. The center operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Patients identified as requiring surgical intervention are promptly referred to the base hospital for further treatment.

The vision center plays a vital role in community outreach, actively engaging in awareness campaigns, conducting eye camps, and implementing referral services. Furthermore, the center conducts sensitization programs for Panchayat Raj Institute members, ASHA workers, Anganwadi members, and other community stakeholders on disability-inclusive eye health practices. This outreach extends across a 40-kilometer radius, encompassing the districts of Puri, Khurdha, and Nayagarh.

Jatni Vision Centre, Khordha

Jatni Vision Centre began operations on January 1, 2019, serving a population of approximately 7 lakhs. Every Sunday, the clinical team, along with an Ophthalmologist and support staff, provides outpatient services from 9 AM to 12 PM. Patients requiring surgery are transported to the base hospital for treatment.

To support the underprivileged, the centre offers free consultations on the first Sunday of each month, ensuring access to quality eye care for the poor and needy. This initiative reflects the centre's commitment to addressing the community's vision-related healthcare needs, offering timely and compassionate services to improve eye health and enhance the quality of life for the people it serves.

Balipadar Vision Centre, Ganjam

Balipadar Vision Centre has been operating on a weekly basis for a long time, addressing the eye care needs of the local community. OPD services are provided once a week, ensuring timely consultations and treatments for patients. For those requiring surgical intervention, arrangements are made to transport them to the base hospital, ensuring access to advanced care.

The centre's consistent efforts aim to improve vision health in the region, catering to the needs of individuals across all age groups. By bridging the gap in specialized eye care, Balipadar Vision Centre plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall quality of life for the community.

Bhanjanagar Vision Centre

Bhanjanagar Vision Centre was established in August 2023 to address the eye care needs of the local community. The centre provides outpatient (OPD) services once a week, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment for patients. For individuals requiring surgical interventions, arrangements are made to transport them to the base hospital, ensuring access to advanced procedures.
