On October 10, 2024, ECOS Eye Hospital commemorated World Sight Day with a series of activities. The day began with an awareness rally held within Berhampur Town at 9 AM, emphasizing the importance of accessible, affordable, and quality eye care for all. The theme of World Sight Day 2024, "Children, Love Your Eyes," served as the guiding principle for the event.

An awareness rally was also held at the hospital's vision center at Jatni in Khordha district of Odisha, further amplifying the message across the region.

A key component of the day was community camp and Mobile van camp organized in the Berhampur area. This outreach initiative provided free eye screenings to a diverse population, including children and adults from the surrounding communities. A total of 87 individuals were screened for potential eye-related disorders, such as refractive errors, cataracts, glaucoma, and other common eye conditions. 

These multifaceted activities demonstrate ECOS Eye Hospital's commitment to improving community eye health. By raising awareness and providing accessible eye care services, the hospital strives to ensure that everyone in the region has the opportunity to enjoy healthy vision.
